Nestled in Washington, IN, Ashley And Brothers Salvadoran Restaurant has quickly captured the hearts—and appetites—of locals and visitors alike. Many patrons rave about the authentic flavors that define its menu. Andrew Talbert highlights the "De Lengua" specialty, complemented by vibrant street tacos and comforting soup, showcasing the culinary diversity that Salvadoran cuisine offers. The ambiance may be modest, but customer experiences convey a warm and inviting atmosphere, as Laura Tetrick’s review illustrates. She recalls a delightful burri-changa brimming with steak and veggies, paired perfectly with creamy horchata—a drink she couldn’t resist. The seasoning magic behind the chicken left her eagerly anticipating a return visit. Service seems to be a hallmark here, as noted by Cyndi Delaney, who praised the friendly, attentive staff. Joe Lannan reiterates this sentiment, applauding both the "spectacular" family service and the quality of the reasonably priced dishes. Notably, one of the standout items, the pupusas, receives high accolades from patrons like One Chance Wizard, who were thrilled to discover this gem while on the go. With its commitment to quality, delicious cuisine, and heartfelt service, Ashley And Brothers Salvadoran Restaurant proves to be a must-visit spot for lovers of authentic Salvadoran fare.

The building is tiny, but that is seriously some of the best food my husband and I have had. He got a glass of horchata for the first time and I probably drank half of it myself. I couldn't get enough. He ordered a burri-changa and it was packed with steak & veggies. I don't know what seasoning they used on the chicken I got, but I'm in love. The hostess/waitress was super sweet as well. We came to town for business, but I'll make a detour the next time I'm even a little close for this again.
